Join us for a romp with the Twisted STEP Sisters in the upper east side of Texas on Saturday November 16. We will meet in Terrell at the Starbucks on I-20 and Hwy 34 at 9:15 AM and depart at 9:30 AM.

We will drive back roads to Canton, with a stop in Ben Wheeler to stretch our legs and look around a little. From there we will drive through Edom and head south to Palestine. Lunch in Palestine at a place to be determined. I’m leaning towards BBQ but Betty is thinking about a new restaurant in the old downtown area.

After lunch in Palestine we will drive back up 315 and take 317 west to Athens for a dessert.

The Step Sisters were named by Ride Texas Magazine earlier this year with an interesting story about the Twisted Sisters (FM 335, 336, 337) being from the “wright side of the tracks” and the Twisted Step Sisters are from the “wrong side” of I-35. If I could find my copy of the magazine you would get more of the story, but ….
